Description:
The foodies of the Glebe, Old Ottawa South and beyond instantly took this market to heart when it set up shop in the parking lot of Lansdowne Park in 2007. It soon expanded from a once-a-week market on Sundays (8am to 3pm) to a twice-weekly event (a smaller market takes place on Thursdays from noon to 6pm). The Sunday market runs from early May to late November, while the Thursday market is open from mid-June to early October. Whenever you visit, you'll find seasonal produce from local farmers, along with meat, bread and other baked goods, flowers, crafts and more. Runs rain or shine.
