Description:
Britannia Park is known for its gorgeous sunsets along the beautiful Ottawa River and for a wonderful shallow beach that allows kids to safely play in the water. This park is supervised by the City of Ottawa and is the site of a community center where people of all ages gather for activities. You can often see sailboats that launch from the nearby Ottawa Sailing Club. It is a wonderful picnic area that has some sheltered areas in the case of rain. During the summer months there are change rooms and a snack bar available.
