This elegant dining establishment is located in a regal heritage home called Maplelawn, which was owned by the Thompson family and completed in 1834. Maplelawn was designated a national historic site by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada. The grounds and gardens, including a rare walled garden, are lovingly attended to by community volunteers. This opulent setting is a wonderful atmosphere for gracious dining. The upscale menu includes appetizers, salads, steak, chicken, seafood, main dishes, beer, wine and desserts. Dress to impress and expect to pay a little more than in your average steak house. This is a very special place and worth the trip to the west end of town.
