Aker Brygge
Aker Brygge (Aker Wharf) is a redeveloped ship yard, retaining many of the original features. Shops and restaurants abound. During summer it's a local favourite for after-work beers or a lazy fjord-side stroll. Aker Brygge has no hotels, but it's within easy walking distance of the city center (locals will claim it's
in the city centre). This is also where you catch the ferry to the Bygdøy peninsula.
