In Oslo, bed and breakfasts are normally called pensjonat (pensions) and as opposed to hotels, the price usually doesn't include breakfast. However, you'll often find facilities for making your own. Most are located in the posh West End, usually in large, rambling turn-of-the-century wooden villas. Ranging from small, family-run 2-bedroom B&Bs to large 88-bedroom ones, they're all good value and often match hostel prices.
