Church Street Station, Orlando's newest revitalization project at the foot of the gigantic new Amway Center, is the ideal spot to hang for a few days. It makes sense to book a nearby room so you can spend some time exploring the area by foot. There really are just a handful of downtown hotels, but they are all great in their own way. A handful of bed and breakfasts (Lake Lucerne and Veranda) offer a quaint and cozy setting. The Grand Bohemian is posh and upscale. The EO Inn is minimalist and chic. Plus there are a few chain hotels nearby like Marriott and Sonesta for those travelers looking to stick to a name they know. Whichever you choose, you're no more than a five to fifteen minute stroll from Church Street. Grand Bohemian is the closest (about a 60 second stroll) and Sonesta is the furthest (about a five-minute cab ride).
