The ocean is miles from Orlando but you can still expect great seafood in this land-locked town. From reliable chain restaurants to off-the-beaten path eateries, the area boasts a bevy of superb seafood joints.
One of my top picks is The Melting Pot mostly because you get to cook the seafood just the way you like it! Choose from white shrimp, cedar-pank salmon, scallops and even lobster to cook in a variety of cooking styles. My personal favorite is the Coq au Vin, a broth filled with fresh herbs, mushrooms, garlic, spices and burgundy wine. And lets not forget the array of dipping sauces. Next time you go try mixing the green goddess and teriyaki sauces for a sweet and savory taste or the teriyaki and curry sauce for a sassy kick.
