Whether you're 6 or 96 The Clayhouse is a great place to let your creative juices flow. What most people discover when they spend a little time in the paint-your-own-pottery studio is that they have as much fun or more than the kids they bring along. It's rewarding. It's fun. It's cathartic. And you end up with something cool, useful and memorable to take home.The Clayhouse provides everything you need – paint and brushes, patterns, stencils, sponges, inspiration and more - so even the creatively challenged will come away with a great piece.
Gallery One, showcasing a variety of artists on a rotating schedule, shares space with the Clayhouse offering more inspiration. Bisque (ready-made but 'bare' pottery) prices range from $4-$60. White ticketed items incur a small studio fee of $6-8 and red ticketed items like mugs, tiles or coasters do not. Once fired the piece can be picked up in-studio or sent to you in the mail. From team building to ladies night out, showers to birthday parties, summer or vacation camps to office parties the Clayhouse always seems to be mixing it up. Pick your bisque choose your paint colors and think up or select a design then let your artistic muse loose.
If you're organization is looking to increase critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills check out the custom workshops to target your company's specific needs through "The Art of Unleashing your Brain Power." The workshop is a collaborative effort between artist Debra Marquis and psychologist Alicia Farrell, Ph.D. This is a results- oriented, scientifically based fusion of art and science that targets weak areas within a business and generates real and lasting solutions.
