Onna Village & Yomitan Village
Following the coast south from the Motobu Peninsula, the Onna Coast has some of the best beach resorts, golf courses and scenic spots in Okinawa, as well as beautiful coral reefs. Beginner-level divers can easily enjoy watching the fish swim about the coral from Onna Seaside Park Nabii Beach or Maeda Point, or the more cautious can visit the Busena Resort Underwater Observatory and get a panoramic view of the ocean floor from behind a pane of glass. Besides their pristine beaches, Onna Village also offers the artistic traveler the chance to make his or her own piece of bubbly Ryukyu glass at the Onna Glass Studio, a perfect way to remember the trip. Known for unique pottery and Zakimi-jo, the biggest gusuku on the island, a quick trip through Yomitan Village provides a vast amount of cultural knowledge.
