Built in 1579, this church has the uniquness quality of having the tower bells behind the facade, they're not tall, instead, they can be mistaken with part of the facade.Its baroque, plateresco and classic facade, with the image of San Ignacio del Loyola, the order founder, is one of the most famous in Oaxaca, and surely one of its landmarks.
Inside, the wooden altar with gold coated is a baroque jewel of this city.
