Wahiawa/Schofield
Take a military base and one of Oahu's dingier neighborhoods and add flat pineapple plantations around it. That's what you get with Wahiawa and Schofield -- the armpit of Oahu. There's not much to do around here, as Schofield is strictly protected and Wahiawa is basically a row of pawn shops and cheap, dirty restaurants. If you're heading to the North Shore, however, you're bound to drive through one or the other, but that's about all you should do here -- keep driving.
