Makaha
Considering this town is located on Oahu's westernmost shore, Makaha has the most rugged and local of all neighborhoods on the island. The coastline and surf around Makaha is pretty awesome, though, but it is advisable to sightsee in this area only during the day, as theft and localism can be a problem.
