La’ie
The only Mormon neighborhood on Oahu, La'ie is home to the Hawaii campus of Bringham Young University. Essentially a dry town, Lai'ie has a most favorable location between Kaneohe and the North Shore. Likewise, there are cute enclaves like Hau'ula and Ka'a'awa that are pleasantly parked by the water. The longstanding Crouching Lion Inn and the Polynesian Cultural Center (a tourist hotspot) are also close by.
