Although there is three locations around the island, The Shack in Waikiki is definitely the most happening venue, or raging as locals would say. An island style laid back locale, The Shack is the place to go for local music which is usually a combination of reggae and Hawaiian music. Many of the guests there are regulars, but there's a large mix of visitors looking for a good time of socializing and dancing too. Island style casual is the theme at The Shack. Dressing up here usually includes heels (and we're not talking Gucci) or the average every day flip-flops for both men and women. Clothing is the usual nighttime island get-up - a sundress, skirt, or dressy top with jeans or a jean skirt for women. For men, the tried and true aloha shirt is the usual attire, but of course a nice T-shirt will do the trick too. If you go to The Shack get ready for live music, a DJ, dinner and sports nights. You'll find a friendly array of locals looking to have a good time and some laughs, and definitely some pure aloha.
