Description:
Cannon Mountain is the only state operated ski resort in the White Mountains. At more than 5,000 feet high, Cannon features 36 trails, with several of them sure to satisfy advanced downhill skiers. A special feature of this ski area is its comprehensive Learn to Ski School which offers expert instruction for beginners. During both winter and summer, visitors to Cannon can experience the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway which features two cabins that travel along the tramway's steel cables to the mountain summit at 5,359 feet.
