Nice has a lot of fun things to do beyond the beach and the famous promenade. But let's start at the Promenade des Anglais, which is a big favorite with locals and visitors alike, attracting rollerbladers, cyclists and dog owners. Parc Phoenix shows off the green side of the Riviera. It is home to one of the largest glass-houses in the world, the Diamond Vert ("Green Diamond"), where the rarest species of plants bloom and thrive in their native climates. Situated on the roof terraces of Nice's modern art museum, the Musée d'Art Moderne et d'Art Contemporain, the Jardin d' Eden, a little garden and wall walk that's a hidden gem with wonderful views. The Zoo du Cap-Ferrat can be found in the verdant depths of the Cap Ferrat, among the villas of the wealthy, around 15 minutes from Nice itself. Nice, clearly, is a lot more than nice, as you'll discover when you explore all the fun activities the town has to offer.
