While Nantucket isn't exactly known as a nightlife hot spot, one can still find a summer of fun in some of the bars and dance clubs on the island. It might be a more mature spot for the older crowd than the Jersey Shore for the young, but Nantucket can still cater to those that want to get down or claim a bar stool for the night. If you're with the family, catch the Nantucket Film Festival, in mid-June, where tons of movies are screened throughout the islands movie theaters.
