Day 1 - Munich

The Hotel Bayerischer Hof is in a great location downtown, and is the perfect place for a romantic vacation with impeccable service, a rooftop infinity pool and bar, and some of the best breakfast and restaurant cuisine in town. Make sure to ask for a renovated room, as some have been recently refurbished and some not. There are different themes for the room decor, from "Laura Ashley" romantic florals to a crisp modern design. After you check in, walk to the western side of the city center and explore the many landmarks there, including the towers of the Frauenkirche, the Wittelsbacher Brunnen fountain, the gardens of Radspielerhaus, and Karlsplatz. Head south of town for dinner at Lucullus, a popular yet always intimate Greek restaurant. Definitely try to sit on the patio if there's room.
