Description:
The summer Tollwood festival is located at the very southern tip of the Olympic park in Munich. It is a new-age hippie type market place for the high end market combined with a massive concert venue as well as large eating areas with a variety of types of food. The festival is usually held at the end of June and early July every year. It is open daily, has no entry fee, and is easily accessable by public transportation as it is at the Olympic Park. Tickets for the concerts held during the Tollwood festival can be bought online or through the Tourist information office at the Hauptbahnhof or Marienplatz.
