You can surf or just watch the surfing any time of year here in Munich. It used to be illegal, but now is it's completely acceptable to surf here. The surfing action is right next to the Haus der Kunst. You can watch the surfing from the bridge on the sidewalk, or from the side just barely inside the English Garden. Don't hurt yourself...
