Hotel Monaco is a budget hotel located less than 5 minutes from the main Munich train station that nearly always gets fair reviews (not great, but nearly never bad). It has a great location near the station and within 10 minutes walk of the big sights of the city. Many big guide books list this as a top budget hotel for a reason, it's consistently alright.From the main entrance of the station, walk south one block, you'll see Hotel Monaco on the corner.
