For those looking for cheap accommodation that is a step above a hostel, Rattana Mansion might be an option. Rattana offers a few things you won't find in guesthouses or hotels: private bathroom, air conditioner in all rooms, free wi-fi and a restaurant on the premises. Prices are low, starting at around U$20 per night, so don't expect much luxury once you step into the room. Deluxe rooms are not necessarily any more luxurious than standard rooms, but they are bigger and have a bathtub instead of a shower.
