You'll find Turret Arch in the Windows area of Arches National Park. So named because a slab of sandstone rises like a majestic turret just beside the arch itself, it's an easy hike that rewards with the usual wonderful views in this stunning national park. Less than a mile round-trip, this hike is worth your time. You'll start on the trail heading to the Windows. After hanging a right at a trail junction, you can see Turret Arch off in the distance. When you get up close to it, stone steps curve up right underneath the actual arch, allowing for a very personal experience of a marvel of nature. This hike is an excellent choice for kids.
