Description:
This fun place, ten miles south of Moab, is a revelation for most visitors. In fact, most don't even know it's there; this is more of a locals' hang out. What can you do at ken's Lake? Plenty.
Boating, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, and hiking are all up for grabs at this BLM-governed recreation area.
31-site campground, RVs okay. Sites available first come, first served. Picnic tables, vault toilets. No drinking water. Directions:
Head seven miles south of Moab on U.S. Highway 191. Turn left (east) and follow the signs approximately three miles to the lake.
