The domes is like nothing you have experienced in the United States. Three separate glass-covered domes house a different climate: arid, tropical, and floral. Built in the 1950's and 60's, with a design won by a local architect, construction took 8 years to complete.There's music in the summer and even a light show at night. Open Monday through Friday between 9AM and 5PM. Open later on Thursdays until 9PM. Open Saturday and Sundays between 9AM and 4PM. Admission is $6.50 for adults,$5.00 for children ages 6-17 and with student i.d.
