Housed in the former 1930s Art Deco home of the Hotel Nash, behind what was Gianni Versace's palatial mansion and only one block from the beach, the Lords South Beach is the result of a multi-million dollar renovation effort and brand effort. Walk through the doors of this hotel, which describes itself as "quantum leap in gay travel" and you'll be greeted by a whimsical a 9-foot tall fiberglass polar bear clinging to a beach ball. But whimsy aside, this hotel is all about being friendly, sexy and stylish, with bohemian guest rooms, free-spirited dining and easy access to SoBe's shopping nightlife hot spots. Plus, there's an in-house bar, restaurant, room service and several well-informed concierges who knows the area like the backs of their hands.
