Villa Maria was a success the first day it opened. It starts the moment you arrive, the facade is an attractive yellow with black accents that invite you in and once inside, the music and the aroma from the kitchen make you feel like staying and trying everything on the menu.
It is typical Mexican food but with a flair. It is not haute cusine or anything pretentious. You will find tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, carne asada, quesadillas and everyrhing that you consider to be Mexican food, prepared to perfection and served in beautiful Talavera style plates.
There is live music playing on both floors of the rstaurant and it gets pretty lively, especially in the evenings and weekends, be prepared for a short wait if you do not have a reservation.
