If you are looking for a high end restaurant to hold a business lunch or a romantic dinner, Hunan is a perfect choice in either of it's two locations, Lomas or San Angel. As soon as you walk in you are seduced by the beautiful architecture, the artwork and the decor. Service is impeccable, just the right mix of formality and friendliness. It is a local favorite for celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and reservations are highly recommended, especially on the weekends. The menu is quiet ample and varied with all the traditional Hunan specialties plus chef James Huang's daily specials ($15-$25). This restaurant is located in the Lomas residential area, a ten minute drive from Polanco, there are no tourist attractions nearby but definitely worth going out of the way.
