Description:
Adonis is one of the two or three well known Lebanese restaurants in Mexico City and in my opinion it is the best. Food is prepared in typical Lebanese style, served by friendly end efficient waiters and supervised by the restaurant's owner who is always standing by to make sure you are feeling welcome and at home. The moment you sit down you are served fresh olives and pita bread to munch on while you decide on the kipe, tabule, falafel or any of the other typical dishes. The restaurant is nicely decorated and if you go with kids they will love the fish in the aquarium in the main dining room. By the end of your meal you will be so full that you will be tempted to pass on the dessert tray. Don't. Their pastries are prepared daily on the premises and together with a cup of Arabic coffee they are the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Thursday - Saturday they have live music and belly dancers on the top floor, the place fills up by 11 pm so get there by ten pm so you can get a good table.
