The Marquis is the perfect hotel if you want to combine a business trip with sightseeing. It's prime location is ideal for business meetings nearby or to visit the museums in Chapultepec and downtown or the shops and restaurants on Reforma and Polanco.The spa and health club are one of the most prominent amenities of this hotel, and besides providing this service to it's guests, many locals visit the hotel for spa treatments. The rooms are not huge but they are comfortable, and you will be surprised by the size of the bathrooms, they are almost as large as the room itself.
The restaurants (Los Canarios and La Joya) are excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with La Joya offering a great Sunday buffet. The lobby bar is very attractive, well lit and open and you can hear water cascading from the fountains at the entrance which have a sign warning guests not to get to close which makes me think that several people have already taken a dip.
