There are many fun things to do in Memphis that includes all things
Graceland and other varied activities. Graceland is and will always be a big draw for tourists and a fun extra for business travelers. The second most visited home in the United States (behind the White House), Graceland offers visitors not only guided tours of the premises, but also a candid look at the man that was Elvis Presley.
After you have visited Graceland, it's time to explore Memphis' museums and other worthy cultural attractions. Check out the Memphis
Rock and Soul Museum for a trip down Rock N' Roll memory lane. Owned and operated by the Smithsonian Institution, this 10-year-old museum is dedicated to Memphis' musical legacy. In fact this museum offers free shuttle service between here, Graceland, and the famous
Sun Studio.
There are a couple of outdoor activities that the whole family will enjoy. One fun thing to do is visit
Overton Park in Midtown. Here you'll be able to explore the
Memphis Zoo and their wonderful animal exhibits. In addition, the
Mud Island River Park offers endless hours of paddle boat fun and many concerts at their outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Mississippi River.
