Just 5 mins from the CBD, this picturesque course is a world away from city life. Located on scenic parklands that straddle the Yarra River, the course's challenging and undulating layout has always attracted keen golfers. Local wildlife abounds including hundreds of grey-headed flying-fox that occupy some riverside trees. While they might look menacing they are completely harmless. The course's new management has just built a new driving range and plans are underway to improve the course even further. In summer, specials are available for tee offs after 3pm. A few beers in the beer garden, only meters away from where golfers tee off, if a great way to finish the round.
