The Mordialloc Pier is ideal for those that would like to go fishing but don't want to venture too far away from the city. The beauty of the pier, is the different types of people who use it. There are the older fisherman, using squid jigs and long poles; the father and son fisherman hoping to catch some tasty flathead using pipis; and the people who stand out there all day with a rod, just taking it all in. If fishing isn't your thing, then buy some fish and chips and eat them at your own pleasure while watching the seagulls.
