South Maui
South Maui is an interesting collection of island residents and locals who all seems to clamor for a parking spot and a spot on anyone of the several beaches in the area. The collection of moderately priced vacation condos and timeshares bring those on a budget and those with family in tow. The area is also a collection of strip malls that offer everything from movies to grceries, and it is also one of the few place where cafes and snorkel rentals companies stand shoulder to shoulder along busy Kihei Road. Also along South Maui is the ultra upscale resort of Wailea. Wailea is home of a multitude of white sand beaches and resorts that include The Four Seasons Wailea, The Grand Wailea and the Fairmont Kealani. There is also a multitude of upscale condominiums for short or long term rentals.
