Maui has some great options for visitors who love the water. Whether you are into water sports or not, we have put together a list of great options to have fun on the water (even if it's in a boat or submarine).
If visiting during the winter months, be sure to book a whale watch through the Pacific Whale Foundation. You can also book snorkel cruises to Molokini, sunset cruises, and dinner cruises all year long.
Be sure to head to Snorkel Bob's or Maui Dive Shop to rent or purchase snorkel gear and dive equipment. There are some great diving options on Maui.
Families will probably enjoy booking a surfing lesson in various locations on the island. Cove Park in Kihei offers great conditions for beginners, as well as Lani'opoko out in Lahaina.
The Road to Hana offers some great water activities such as swimming in rain pools, hiking to waterfalls, or checking out the underwater caves in Wainapanapa.
