Malaga is all about history, culture, class, and sophistication. It the ideal place for the most romantic getaways you will ever experience. First stop should be a nice leisurely walk along Plaza y Acera de La Marina. The square dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, when parts of the old Moorish walls were torn down. The historical plaza opens up to the harbor. Next, head to Pasaje de Chinitas, a charming spot that was once the heart and soul of the city, with all night Flamenco dancing. It used to have a fountain at the center which was later replaced by a gypsy statue. The charm has not disappeared and a stroll down the street certainly brings back its glory days. Art lovers should check out Alfredo Vinas. One of the city's premiere art galleries, the exhibit includes the jewelry designs of the multi-talented artist Pérez Villalta. There are so many romantic things to do, you might just fall in love with Malaga.
