Description:
Located along the banks of the River SaƓne, opposite the lovely river locked island of
L'Ile Barbe, Buldo has a number of features that make it a special place to eat. While you can opt to eat in the roadside restaurant - indoors - the beauty of this restaurant is found on the riverside terrace, which faces L'ile Barbe. But, if you would like to dine on the terrace during the summer season, make sure you book in advance, as the terrace fills up very quickly.
The restaurant's menu is generally French, and given the quality of the food and the special location; meals are reasonably priced. This is a good place for trying
Grenouille (frogs legs) as they are served
a volonte; in other word, you can eat as much of those little legs as you like. The
Nordique Salade can also be highly recommended. One last note about this restaurant; while the food is reasonably priced, you might get a bit of a shock when you see the wine list. Expect to pay 30 euros and up for a regular regional wine. The restaurant does offer a local 'pot' of wine (50cl), which is priced more reasonably.
