Description:
The Planetenweg, literally "planet path", is an easy (by Swiss standards) walking trail from the Uetliberg train station to the Adliswil-Felsenegg cable car along Zurich's Uetliberg. The trail follows the spine of the mountain with views out to the lake, the city and its environ for much of the walk. Along the way, you will encounter scale models of the various planets in the solar system, spaced out at one billionth of their actual distance from one another, starting with the sun at Uetliberg train station. The path covers 5.9 kilometers.
