Huber's Orchard, Winery, and Vineyard
NileGuide Expert Says:
Picking your own fruit at Huber's is a fun way to spend a day. After picking, you can have lunch (or dessert at the ice cream shop), and if you don't feel like picking your own, you can always buy other produce from their market. It's a pretty drive to the farm from Louisville.

Description:
Huber's is a 550-acre family farm and winery in Southern Indiana. Visitors can ride out to the fields or orchards on a tractor-pulled trailer, where they can pick fruit from the spring through the fall, including blueberries, strawberries, peaches, apples, and pumpkins. After picking, pay at the farm market, where fruit, vegetables, and baked goods are also for sale. There is also a children's farm park, a cheese shop, ice cream shop, winery, a gift shop, and in the fall, a corn maze. In 1978, Huber's started a winery, and the Starlight Distillery is one of seven wineries on Indiana's Uplands Wine Trail. Tours of the winery and production facilities are offered daily, and a complimentary wine tasting follows the tour. The Starlight Cafe, also located in the winery building, offers sandwiches, pizza and salad.
Huber's is located in Borden, Indiana, about 40 minutes from Louisville.
