Said to be the largest Beatles-inspired music festival in the world, Louisville's Abbey Road on the River festival takes place Memorial Day weekend on several stages at the Galt House Hotel and the Belvedere, overlooking the Ohio River. The five-day festival includes tribute bands, films, speakers, even cooking demonstrations. Past speakers include Pete Best (the Beatles' drummer prior to Ringo Starr) and Louise Harrison, George Harrison's sister.The festival also takes place in Washington, D.C.
