Hotels Near Downtown in Louisville
Finding a hotel in downtown Louisville should be an easy feat - unless you've waited until the last minute on Derby weekend.

We love the TCHO chocolates left in the rooms, and we really love the homemade tonic in the gin and tonics at Proof on Main.
The Seelbach Hilton Hotel is more traditional, historic, and somewhat more centrally located. Famous guests who have stayed there include F. Scott Fitzgerald and Al Capone. It's a short walk to the convention center, but on a Friday or Saturday night, consider requesting a room away from the noise on Fourth Street Live.
Comparable to the Seelbach is the Brown, an elegant hotel on the National Register of Historic Places. It's home of the Hot Brown sandwich, a Louisville tradition. A longer walk to the convention center, it's close to the Louisville Palace.
