Once you approach the door, the inviting grilled meat aromas account for why this place is crowded with locals almost at any hour. La Tranquera claims to specialize in barbecues Argentinian style (meat, beef, pork, chicken, even guinea pig), and has built a reputation of excellence on the matter (however, other dishes may not be quite as good). There's a good selection of appetizers, side orders, large salads and a great wine selection (much better than the drinks). On the other side, prices are a little expensive (but not "too" expensive) and some waiters are not very well trained.
