This restaurant opened first at La Herradura beach, hence its name, and after three years the owners decided to open another one in La Molina district; both places offer the same quality, and the menus of course are focused in seafood. The Parrilla Marina (Marine Barbecue) is one of its most famous specialties, as well as the fishes with sauces like pachamanquera, barbecue, anticuchera, teriyaki or oriental, among many others: the owner, Juan Carlos Castrillon, defines this cuisine as "marine author cuisine", which includes risottos, creole entrees, and of course the famous Peruvian flagship dish, the ceviche: don't miss the "Kamikaze Ceviche", which includes some ginger. Other famous choice here is the Arroz Saltado A La Mesa (Sauted Rice) which sauce blends coriander and beer. For dessert, try the Capricho de Banana (Banana Caprice), which is basically wonton stuffed with banana puree, with a touch of cinnamon. The warm, cozy decoration include large, beautiful photographs of the beach where this business started, and you'll mostly find reggae music here.
