If you like to eat plenty of food at a reasonable price, this restaurant is difficult to beat. El Hawaiano first opened 20 years ago in Chorrillos and now that it has moved to Barranco, has also become an institution. It is famous for its seafood, but if you want our advice, keep in mind during your first time here that you should take a careful look at the whole buffet area, which is 50m long, in order to avoid getting full only with the entrees: keep some room for the main courses. In the mornings you will find a breakfast buffet for only S/. 29 (some US $10), and, starting at noon, a lunch buffet by S/. 75. /US $27). The buffet at El Hawaiano offers sections for salad bar, entrees, raw bar and sushi bar, but remember that it also has many delicious soups and creole food.
