Needless to say Kauai is breathtaking, and you probably want to capture a few images to save the memories of this dream vacation. Most people want to start off bright and early with a helicopter tour for some aerial shots. Head north from Lihue after your tour and catch the waterfalls (Wailua and Opeka ) on your way. You can stop for lunch at The Shack before you hit the Lighthouse. Limahuli Gardens on the North Shore is a definite and then sunset pics at Ke?e Beach.

Your best bet for great photographs from a helicopter is in the morning. In my experience your chances of clear weather are almost alway better first thing. Plus, this is a very full schedule, so you'll want to start early.
