Day 1 - Las Vegas

We all know Paris is for lovers, but you don't have to fly across the Atlantic to find that famous Parisian ambiance. Paris Las Vegas recreates the romance capital of the world, only on a smaller scale. Romantic Old World Venice is re-imagined at the Venetian, one of Las Vegas' plushest hotels. Since you're in town for romance, rent the car of your dreams and take a spin with your partner. This is one time you won't mind getting stuck in traffic on the Strip. For a romantic meal, try Mix at THEhotel or bistro-style dining at Paris' Mon Ami Gabi. Andrew Lloyd Weber's Phantom of the Opera has been condensed for its Las Vegas version, but nothing says romance more than the story of mismatched lovers. Drinks at the Bellagio's Fontana Bar will let you watch those famous dancing waters... when you can pull your eyes away from who you're with.

Day 2 - Las Vegas

See the Las Vegas sunrise from a completely different perspective: a hot air balloon. It's chilly that early in the day in February, so be sure to dress warmly. If you can't bring yourself to get up quite that early, wander through the Venetian and ride on a gondola. Your gondolier will serenade you and your partner. Eat at Postrio on the patio, where you can watch the people and entertainment in St. Mark's Square, or drive down to Andre's Monte Carlo for French food. For a view of Las Vegas at night, dance or drink high above the city at the Palm's ghostbar or the Rio's Voodoo Lounge.

Day 3 - Las Vegas

For your last day of romance, book some time at the Canyon Ranch Spa. Ask about their treatments for two. Top off a leisurely day with dinner at the top of the Eiffel Tower. If you've decided to take your romance to the next step, why not say "I do" at the Bellagio? Sure, you could get married by Elvis, but the Bellagio's chapels are romantic in a way the King just can't duplicate. Hundreds of couples get married on Valentine's Day in Las Vegas, so be sure to get your license as far ahead as possible. You can even fill out the application online, although you still have to appear in person to get your license. The Marriage License Bureau is located downtown, and is open every day from 8 a.m. to midnight.
