Las Vegas has more hotel rooms than any other city in the world, which makes it a great place to have a convention. The Las Vegas Convention Center is the largest convention facility in Las Vegas. Convention-goers who want to stay close to the LVCC have many options that put them within walking distance, or a very short drive away.
The Las Vegas Hilton is the closest hotel casino to the Convention Center. Room rates are usually reasonable here, but be sure to book far in advance if you to snag a room during any large conventions. Visitors who prefer non-gaming may want to choose the Renaissance, which is almost as close to the LVCC as the Hilton.
Visitors who want to stay on the Strip will find several budget-friendly properties close to the Convention Center. Classic Vegas hotels like the Sahara and the Riviera offer competitively priced rooms for the value-minded traveler.
The area around the Las Vegas Convention Center has a high concentration of name-brand, non-gaming hotels like Embassy Suites and Marriott. Travelers will find standard business-level accommodations at any of these chain hotels, and business people may prefer the quieter, smaller scale of these properties.
