Vegas may be known as an adult playground, but there are plenty of family-friendly Las Vegas hotels. All the excitement of the Strip is a short walk away, but families may appreciate not having to walk through a casino to get to their room.

Staying far off the Strip at the Red Rock lets parents take advantage of child care facilities, and the hotel's bowling alley and movie theaters give families something to do together. Nearby, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area offers hiking, picnicking, and scenic drives.
