The original Studio 54 in New York City became one of the most well-known discos of the 1970s—famous enough that it inspired a movie. Today, Studio 54 has been reincarnated at the MGM Grand as a Las Vegas nightclub. The modernized club echoes its disco origins: Studio 54 has four dance floors and a retro look. According to the MGM Grand, it's "a wilder version of the legendary '70s club."The two-story nightclub features aerial dancers and both male and female go-go dancers—an unusual feature in a Las Vegas nightclub. Studio 54 has been around for a while, putting it in the category of "older" Vegas clubs (meaning a club that's been open over five years, and Studio 54 opened in 1997). Older clubs may not have the same fresh cachet as the newer offerings on the Strip, but customers are also less likely to pay high cover fees or deal with long lines and crowds.
Cover charges at Studio 54 are $10-20 for women, $20-50 for men, and are subject to change. The dress code requires appropriate nightclub attire. Bottle service and VIP tables are available.
