Marlette Lake Trail
NileGuide Expert Says:
Great views with a relatively brisk hike. The water is clear and nice for cooling off on hot days.

NileGuide Expert tip:
Mountain bikers use this trail as well, keep an eye out for bikes coming downhill.
Description:
This trail is located on Lake Tahoe's east shore. A moderate five mile uphill hike leads you through picturesque North Canyon, lined with aspens, to Marlette Lake. This road provides access to the Flume Trail, a popular mountain biking trail, which starts at Marlette Lake Dam. Cross-country skiing is possible on this trail in the winter months. Catch and release fishing is allowed; barbless hooks required.
